Made it out this past Tuesday night to check out some of what Dim Mak Studios has to offer. This time around they brought in some international talent!
First off is UK selekta and BBC1 Radio recurring guest/host from Sheffield, UK, Toddla T. This guy’s musical style is pretty much all over the charts and his styleeclectic as they come – I see him as a weird Diplo only because he’s really into that ragga/jungle outlandish feel.
I can dig this Dillon Francis remix of his track ‘Take it Back’ though.

Toddla T dropping a bit of Ludacris.
Next up we have Angger Dimas (He’s 22 but looks like he’s 15) hailing from Indonesia on a little tour. He recently just played at Insomniac’s Nocturnal Wonderland so I guess he’s making a quick LA play before heading off for his next date.
This young kid definitely has some promise so be on the look out – who knows, might see him on the Dim Mak label in the future. Another one of the under 25 DJs producing some good stuff right now.
