Fueled by social media, a crowd assembled for an impromptu music block party thrown by a DJ outside a movie premiere turned ugly after being ordered to disperse Wednesday, CNN affiliate KTLA reported.

I don’t think Ryan Raddon (Kaskade) realized his reach and sheer intensity of his fans. I guess you can’t blame the swarms of kids who showed up for a free concert in the front of the famous Grauman Chinese Theatre where for decades movie premieres have been taking place.
I know Ryan wanted to do something awesome for the fans by throwing a free concert and seeing EDM grow so it’s terrible to see all this negative press circling around his name. The truth is when the mob mentality sets in, there is nothing you can really do when young, stupid reckless kids cause a riot. Oh yeah – CAN YOU PLEASE STOP PLANKING – you look like retards.

This goes to show that EDC should NOT be in Los Angeles – the overcrowded city is simply not capable nor ready. However, I honestly think what happened is a good thing for Ryan — it’ll just be a segment covered in a documentary or video blog about how crazy his fans got. It’s OK – your fans still love you.
Some media outlets are calling this a publicity stunt and I think it’s certainly a successful one . Don’t you hate those contrived PR stunts that are over planned and contrived? I can for sure say this – a LOT more people are going to be watching the Electric Daisy Experience in theaters on August 4th.
