Monster Massive this year was held at the Sports Arena and included the likes of Carl Cox, Judge Jules, Axwell, Pete Tong, The Glitch Mob, Gareth Emery, Marcus Schossow and more…

This year they spaced out the stages which eliminated the problem of overcrowding for the most part. However, a problem that everyone encountered was that no one had any idea what the set times were or even where the stages are located. It seems as if printed schedules are no longer being done–better for the environment but not good if you’re trying to catch multiple DJ sets.

Since all the electronic promoters have enforced a 18+ age policy, these events has with less bad press and less etards on the ground. It’s also a major reduction in overcrowding, which is quite a plus, because if you never been to a Los Angeles massive in the years past is probably the biggest problem/annoyance (imagine walking in baby steps for 4-5 hours…). This year at least 35 people were arrested but for reasons such as possession of marijuana and ecstasy. And honestly, a rave/massive without any deaths or people being in critical care is somewhat of a success.  Considering, in Torrance, a man was injured in a gang related shooting outside Chuck E Cheese things arn’t so bad.

Even though it was a bitch to find, I got what I wanted which was this below…a Frank Kozik ‘bloody bear’ x Monster Massive toy figurine which was given to everyone who had VIP.

The booth handing these out were seriously in a hidden spot...
