Think what you may, but DJ MAG has the most popular Top 100 DJ list around town and the news was announced recently at a location in London.

Again, grabbing the top spot for three consecutive years, Armin Van Burren takes the throne with Tiesto following closely behind. This is even more awesome news because he will be spinnin @ Los Angeles’ Monster Massive this coming Halloween in which I hope he spins an extra spectacular set. He will also be playing alongside number 13 ranked DJ Sasha, Felix Da Housecat, Hernan Cattaneo(#32), James Zabiela(#38), John O’ Callaghan(#24), and many others.

Many clubs around the world base their club dates around this list so it holds heavy weight and influence even though this list has had a history of rampant cheaters and apparent rigging.

While on tour he is conducting a search for producer talent. So if you’ve been meaning to get those demo & tracks out to someone, THIS IS YOUR GUY.  Pete Tong is a long time DJ and BBC One Radio Essentials Mix host, as well as oversees William Morris Agency’s electronic department in the UK and US.

Last year’s Tong Factor search resulted in the release of the ‘Tong Factor 1’ EP on new imprint White Label, featuring two tracks by Ned Shepard and Redroche.
